What a wonderful and memorable stay in a traditional Fijian village. We liked it so much that we ended up staying in Soso village for a month. Silo, Bill, Va, Rob, Simi, Luisa and Iki, we will never forget the great time we had with you. You took good care of us, prepared extra food for the children and helped us when they got sick. As for the village. The people are very friendly, with a lot of children, so our kids made friends instantly. The beach in front of the village is beautiful, with a nice healthy reef to snorkel and there are some nice hikes with spectacular views over all of the Tasawas. As there is no light pollution, stargazing is breathtaking and the manta ray passage is just around the corner. The accommodation is very basic with a bucket shower and no-flush-toilet, but the beds are comfortable and the food is great. Note that the water available is rain water, so if you want to go safe, bring your own bottled water (or aqua-tabs) from the mainland because there are no real shops on the island. Also, you should wear a Sulu (Sarong) around the village and in church, men too. And it’s expected that you bring a kava root (worth 20 FJ$) and/or some money to present to the chief of the village when you arrive.

Tai Evi homestay, que cuenta con jardín, zona de playa privada y vistas a la montaña, se encuentra en Soso, a pocos pasos de White Sandy Beach. El hostal o pensión dispone de habitaciones familiares. We were so happy to have stayed in this beautiful homestay. One thing that makes it special is that it is in the middle of the village and not like other resorts where you see a lot of other tourist which was so unique! Also, it is not just food and accomodation, but getting to live with the locals and understand how they live and sometimes we even cooked together. After a week it was so sad to leave our new friends: The family, Silo, Bill Va the children and all the others that made us feel so welcome. The activities are amazing the beach is close to the homestay and very beautiful!!! We are really lucky and learned a lot from them, and this was for sure our favourite place to stay in Fiji.

Latui Loft is a beautiful piece of paradise, surrounded by nature and offering a great view, along with all the amenities you need to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time. The loft is located up the hill, so you'll avoid traffic and other tourists. You just need to climb a bit, but that's great cardio exercise after your meal at one of the many restaurants Savusavu town has to offer. Candida and Grant are exceptional hosts—always eager to assist and happy to answer any questions. Their patience and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you!

He gives us a good and safe feeling. The food was amazing and the people in the village a friendly. Our house was clean, toilet and badroom was clean and good aswel!
