Tai Evi 2 is set in Soso and offers a garden. The property features sea and mountain views, and is 400 metres from White Sandy Beach.

The homestay comes with a flat-screen TV. The accommodation is non-smoking. What a wonderful and memorable stay in a traditional Fijian village. We liked it so much that we ended up staying in Soso village for a month. Silo, Bill, Va, Rob, Simi, Luisa and Iki, we will never forget the great time we had with you. You took good care of us, prepared extra food for the children and helped us when they got sick. As for the village. The people are very friendly, with a lot of children, so our kids made friends instantly. The beach in front of the village is beautiful, with a nice healthy reef to snorkel and there are some nice hikes with spectacular views over all of the Tasawas. As there is no light pollution, stargazing is breathtaking and the manta ray passage is just around the corner. The accommodation is very basic with a bucket shower and no-flush-toilet, but the beds are comfortable and the food is great. Note that the water available is rain water, so if you want to go safe, bring your own bottled water (or aqua-tabs) from the mainland because there are no real shops on the island. Also, you should wear a Sulu (Sarong) around the village and in church, men too. And it’s expected that you bring a kava root (worth 20 FJ$) and/or some money to present to the chief of the village when you arrive.

Max's Beachside homestay room 2 is set in Nalauwaki. Situated on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area and a garden.

Guests can take in the views of the sea from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. Beautiful homestay with the best food we had on the Yasawas. The room is quite new, it comes with a mosquito net and a spacious bathroom. The location is stunning, directly at the beach where you can do SUP or snorkeling. The owner and his family were welcoming us at the first evening with the traditional drink Kava, it was a surprise and a very nice experience. There were also kids who enjoyed joining us doing sports. The only thing that was a no go for us were the kids lurking through our windows when we were changing. But other than that, we would recommend it 100%!

Latui Loft is a beautiful piece of paradise, surrounded by nature and offering a great view, along with all the amenities you need to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time. The loft is located up the hill, so you'll avoid traffic and other tourists. You just need to climb a bit, but that's great cardio exercise after your meal at one of the many restaurants Savusavu town has to offer. Candida and Grant are exceptional hosts—always eager to assist and happy to answer any questions. Their patience and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you!

Facing the seafront in Naviti Island, Wai Makare Homestay features a private beach area and a garden. The homestay has family rooms.

A balcony with an outdoor dining area and sea views is offered in selected units. Wai Makere Home Stay with heart! A rustic, island living experience in the Yasawa islands of Fiji. Much different than the mainland. Small, remote, and tranquil. We flew into Nadi, stayed 1 night, then bought a round trip ferry through South Seas Cruises, which was a good move. They drop you right out front of the bay at Wai Makare to a small boat transfer. A HomeStay here at this eco-resort is unique. We did both the dorm sleeping in single beds with other guests, and a private room with 2 beds. We prefer the private room as a couple. Kind of like glamping. Some updating is in progress. This is a small eco-resort run by a local family that is on the opposite side of the island from the main village. For example, water is captured in a tank from rain water. The fish we ate for lunch was freshly caught the night before. You can sign up to watch them spearfishing 🐟🎏 Good food is prepared for 3 meals a day. Like 3 diff meals were fresh Wahoo fish fillet, vegetable and egg stew, and chop suey. At the homestay… Good food, good people, and snorkeling that is world class. The wide private beach is beautiful with a coral garden drop off and 100s of fish, 50-70 meters swim from the shore. Unplug as there is not wifi here. This was a plus in our eyes and helped us relax. Take pics and post later :-)
