The room was spacious (we had a private room) and the staff are exceptional! They would do literally anything for you. They go out of their way to make the guests feel so welcome. The location was very convenient, close to the little bus terminal "El terminalito" which offers buses to the nearby towns. The hostel is a few blocks from the center of the city. The staff was friendly and helpful. We booked the king's size room and, took us by surprise the restroom although it was private it wasn't within the room, it was "attached". However, the person in charge could re-accommodate us in a different room with a private restroom. We appreciate it!

Especially loved cooking in the large shared kitchen that was well equipped. Easy to communicate with before arrival and during the stay when out with WhatsApp. Staff accommodated for and assisted in organising birthday celebrations. Location is 8 minutes from the main road so was very peaceful with great views across the hills and cool breezes.

The dormitory is spacious (I just missed a real window), the beds were the largest and most comfortable I’ve ever found in the country, the shower is perfect, and the air conditioning is a treat. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, always smiling and having good time with the guests. Just the restricted hours to use the kitchen can be a problem if a guest wants to cook dinner, but as I don’t it was no problem for me
