The lady at the reception desk was very helpful and spoke good English. She recommended some great excursions, including a trip to a tea plantation, which was a fantastic choice. We also rented scooters. Even though it was the first time for us and our teenage daughters, she trusted us, and we had a wonderful time exploring the area on the scooters.

Wonderful experience! Beautiful boutique hotel. The room is large, has high ceilings, and floor to ceiling windows. It is well decorated, even the towels and pillows are monogrammed, and looks like it could be in a magazine photoshoot. Bed is really comfortable too. Kate, the host, is friendly, funny, and helpful. Her English is perfect too. She gave me a lot of local tips on what to do in the area and about the local water taxi (only 3 RMB). Following her tips I managed to see a whole family of water buffalo! And get some stunning photos! I feel so happy and well rested after my time here. Happy to recommend :)

The units will provide guests with a dressing room and a kettle. We had a very pleasant and great time in Longji Terrace La vie Inn. The hotel is just a 5 minutes walk away from the parking lot. The staff is most helpful and very friendly. The communication with the staff is great and they help in any way they can. The view out of the balcony is breathtaking. We even had breakfast and lunch in the hotel, it tasted delicious! We can just recommend it!

Situated not far from Ping’an car park, the hotel is quite easy to get to, free luggage transport from Pingan car park is provided. Location wise it is just perfect for us 3 seniors. We were met at the parking lot by the owner herself. We got our bags carried up in a little carry on bike. We just need to walk up a bit. Good exercise. The hotel was just perfect. Beautifully set up with careful plannings & antique looking like decorations. We had all our meals at the hotel. Authentic taste & delicious. We just love the home brew rice wine that goes well with our dinners. Thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Gu . You make us feel guests to your own home. The view from our room balcony was just perfect.

Just 5 km from Yangshuo, The Giggling Tree is an unique guest house which is located in the tiny village of Little Mountain Gate. It features traditional farmhouses, a beautiful courtyard and an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi access is available. The Giggling hotel has great location at the Yulong river. we rented electric scooters to ride along this river. you can also ride to Yangshuo downtown. Kids like the outside swimming pools a lot. they swim twice a day. the large one is 1,40m deep. food is excellent and affordable (chinese and western). kids like the french fries with self made chicken nuggets a lot, we ate other chinese food, all very delicious (salads, eggplant, lemon chicken etc). Employees are very friendly and help with everything. Large rooms have good airconditiing, large comfortable beds (with mosquito nets if needed) and bathrooms are large and very comfortable and stylish. we also took taxi to Guilin (sevenstars park and downtown) and ofcourse we also went to ride boat on the Li river and to dazhai longji rice terraces. Swimming pool was a big suprise and big PLUS.

It’s conveniently located at the heart of Yangshuo’s downtown, closed to the famous shopping street, Xijie Street, and all other famous attractions. The rooms are beautifully designed in modern comforts, spacious, and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and most stunning thing is “there is an elevator!!” inside the lodge. We did not have to walk all to way up to 6th floor. We just had more than we expected and needed for a perfect stay. The host is a lovely couple and they are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. They are also professional tour guides and help planned our itinerary to explore and experience the Yangshuo local attractions. They made us feel like part of the local family and complete our travel effortless. All in all, this lodge is absolutely fantastic. If you are looking for a decent retreat with exceptional services and a genuine local experience, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be returning!!
