Host was extremely helpful with my questions. Kept me well informed after booking, and prior to arrival through WhatsApp. During my stay Minh Hieu was attentive and had recommendations on where to go and what to eat. Nice! Also, when I said I don’t like the waste of plastic and prefer big bottles of water in stead of the smaller ones. The host made sure Ingot the bigger bottles from then on. So nice of him. My room had a lot of space, was clean and exactly as in photos, with a nice kitchenette and a couch where I could sit, relax and enjoy the view from the small balcony. It smelled nice too! Nice touch: the shower has infrared heating. I imagine that can be very nice when you’re staying in Hanoi in winter. Only tip I have is: a label on the button for hot water. You have to push it and wait for 15 minutes for the shower water to heat up. I didn’t know at first so the first days I had a cold shower. Fortunately that’s no punishment for end of May in Hanoi …

The location of this accommodation was perfect! Really close to the old quarter, train, lake etc! And very quiet indeed! Rooms were so cute, cozy and really good size! Rik communicated with us well, instructions to enter and how to use facilities were very clear. Definitely would stay here again!

I stayed here for about three weeks, and I have to say it was totally worth it! The location is perfect , you really couldn’t find a better one. The room was always clean and quiet, and the host was extremely helpful and kind. What else can I say? Highly recommended for both short and long stays. You have everything you need around you, and you can even organize all your trips directly from here. If I come back to Hanoi, I’ll definitely know where to stay. See you soon! 🌟

Loved my stay here. Rooms are basic but have everything you need, it was a really good size and the bed was super comfy. Everything was clean and the aircon worked really well. The shared bathroom was only shared between two rooms and was clean with good toiletries. The owner was super helpful and waited for me to arrive on a last minute booking. The location is also great, just behind train street, with a big convenience store just across the street and lots of other useful shops/restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended and wish I'd stayed here rather than the more expensive but rubbish hotel I used on my previous stay.

I had a nice stay at the property. The whole place was clean, cosy and nicely decorated. All the appliences worked well. There was a stable Wi-Fi connection. I enjoyed the room with a street view. The room was of a decent size. The high ceilings in the property added to the feeling of comfort. It was handy to be able to use the washing machine on the top floor. The hostess was nice and friendly. The area was peaceful and the lake was in a walking distance.

This has been the cosiest and the most welcoming accommodation we've been to in the last three months of our travel. The host is very sweet and helpful and really made us feel welcome, the rooms are sparkle clean, bright and so cosy we wanted to stay longer just to hang out in the room. The host also has her own fashion design studio on the ground floor of the house, and she showed me how to do the embroidery which was the most relaxing evening I could ask for after wandering around the city for entire day. I can't recommend enough this accommodation!

Nice room and bed with a comfortable topper. Very basic and simple but I don't need more than this. I enjoyed the relative silence. When the weather is cold you'll hear only the heating or airing system of a nearby big building but probably when it's hot the usual AC noise will be unavoidable, like in most of the accommodations in hot countries. However during my stay this background noise wasn't continuous. At times, I enjoyed almost complete silence, which is a big privilege in the centre of Hanoi. Anyway, no traffic noise at all. Moreover, the building's construction quality is good with no humidity and mould.
