I highly recommend this accommodation. The host, June, is super caring and makes you feel at home instantly. The room was beautiful and felt authentic due to the wooden walls and furniture. Doors to the balcony provided an amazing view of nature, which gave me the feeling I was in the middle of a jungle. Still, the beach was very close by (location: close enough to everything, but still calm and quiet). The room was clean and had everything i needed. Breakfast was really really good. With home made dishes and a lot of fresh fruits (see pictures to know what to expect). During my stay there were two occasions when I was extra happy that I stayed at the Orchid Home: (1) My birthday: my brother had contacted the host to ask if they wanted to pass on a birthday card for me. When they learned it was my birthday, they made a big thing out of it: extra special breakfast, a little birthday cake with candles, and all staff came to sing for me. It was really lovely. (2) I had a little accident with a motor cycle on my last night in Koh Tao: June was there for comfort and helped me as she provided ice packs, iso-betadine, and tea. All and all, I loved staying here. When I come back to Koh Tao, I will stay at the Orchid home again.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The location was ideal—close enough to attractions yet peacefully quiet. My room was stunning, with a super cozy bed and perfectly working AC (a lifesaver in the heat!). The layout was so well-designed—spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. Best of all, it was serene and quiet, making for a truly restful stay. Would 100% recommend and stay here again!

I stayed in the 10-bed dorm and I loved it! It was super chill and the people who work there are amazing! They helped me with booking of tours, tickets, scooter, gave me recommendations etc. It's also on a walking distance from the pier which is a plus! I highly recommend!

Everything was great. The hotel is located near the pier (7 min walk) and has many shops, bars, and diving centers. Despite this, the hotel is located in very quiet place. The staff is super friendly and ready to help with every problem. For example, they give us snorkeling equipment for free and organize the trip to Nang Yuan island. The breakfast was perfect. I highly recommend taking the room with breakfast. A great place in terms of price-quality ratio
