I felt completely at ease and well cared for during my time there. If you’re looking for a peaceful and meaningful stay near the beach in Nilaveli, I can’t recommend Pranu Guest House enough! I had a truly memorable experience staying at Pranu Guest House in Nilaveli, hosted by Rajan and his wonderful wife. Rajan is one of the most humble and kind-hearted people I’ve met. He takes the time to sit with you, help plan your day or holiday, and is always quick to assist — whether it’s calling a cab, connecting you to a currency exchange person, or even offering a small medical first aid kit, which came in handy when I needed help for a minor cut. He’s not only a great host but also someone who genuinely cares about the environment — he spends his free time contributing to ocean cleanup efforts, which is truly inspiring. His wife is equally lovely and makes delicious, healthy breakfasts that are far better than anything you’ll find in a restaurant — homemade with love, and a perfect way to start the day. Amazing hosts, did everything to let me feel extremely welcome and at home. They are currently constructing a new restaurant and even stopped the constructions while I was there to not cause too much noise and keep the privacy. Invited me for a delicious sri lankan rice & curry for dinner and always offered tea. Great place to stay when in Nilaveli!

We enjoyed the silence, harmony, friendliness and beautiful area in Amal’s Paradies! Perfect location to slow down and to discover Nilaveli, Trincomalee, Uppuveli,… Amal is a very nice host. Always helpful, available before and during our stay. We will def come back to this beautiful place. It was also very nice to see that the extremely lovable dog was allowed to have such a nice and quiet place to live. We really enjoyed his presence. a soul of an animal.
