The host and his family are exceptionally friendly, helpful and extremely hospitable. The location is perfect for anyone arriving from the airport heading inland, since it is close to the railroad (without being close enough to hear it). The town is the perfect place to acclimatise to Sri Lankan life and heat, and gives you a unique opportunity to explore village life off the beaten track. The rooms have everything you need and the breakfast is overwhelmingly delicious. All in all, we would recommend going here straight from the airport, rather crowded and noisy Colombo

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The hosts are super kind and lovely people. They greeted us with a drink, helped carry our backpacks, ordered food for us and prepared a delicious breakfast. Additionally, they arranged transportation to our next destination. The place is very clean as well. If we are in the area again, we will definitely return.

Very nice people. Always smiling and talkative. They are very generous and spent some fruits and coffee for me. Big rooms with fan. Huge garden with peaceful, calm and very green area. They can also cook for you if you want. When I had food the lady asked me more times if everything was fine and if I would need something. Understanding and honest owner. Highly recommended for people who needs a chill from the busy city. The right place for calming and chilling Internet was avaible and perfectly working. The main road is about 20 minutes by walking but the people around this neighborhood are so nice. I had several lifts very quick and easily. They also have a tuktuk service and can assist you if you need to get to the airport.
