The staff were so friendly and helpful. Amazing advice on navigating this beautiful Onsen town. The lovely woman (Im sorry to forget your name) identified locations to eat and Tattoo friendly onsens so that my friend and I can have an authentic experience. I went for a walk at 6am to find my car covered in a layer of snow. When I returned at 10, the car had been brushed clean of snow ready for our departure. This service was not requested but done on their own will. For this, we are very thankful. English was amazing and the accommodation (private futon room) was amazing. Thankyou for having us.

I was clean and verry comfy I loved my stay. For this price it was absolutely amazing. Regarding the futons.. you have to like it.

They have a kotatsu in the living room. We could spend time playing cards warmly. Also the bathroom and showers were super clean. They leave extra blankets and electronic blankets in our rooms., so we didn't not suffer of the cold temperature. I will definitely come back again if I go to Kusatsu Onsen.

I really enjoyed staying at Villa Alpen! This ski in ski out hotel is quiet old but the atmosphere there is so peaceful. Onsen works 24 hours! It is a great bonus. The continental breakfast and Japanese style dinner served. All good! The staff is very friendly. The ski resort is consisted of multiple small resorts and they all interconnected. The owners accommodated all my needs and were very helpful and kind! I will be back for sure!
