great value, modern room, comfy bed and a nice bathroom/shower; beautiful, quiet location near a small river, big house with an kitchen and dining area where delicious, home cooked food was provided, great service by Karun who really took care of everything and helped out with so many things, scooter and bycicle rental and varies boating possibilities, i had a wonderful time and hope to return one day

Would recommend this Homestay and munroe island to everyone visiting Kerala! Vijeesh made our time super fun even though we only stayed one night. Do not miss the sunset kayak trip and the sunrise boat trip, such a highlight of our Kerala trip. Munroe island is beautiful.

The wellcoming from Sajeev and Vijayan was fantastic. We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. The level of service was outstanding and they really cared for us during our stay in Madhav Mansion. We would highly recommend it! This is a great place to stay, it's relaxing, the hosts are awesome and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Very good value for money. Provided breakfast and dinner, lunch as well if you wanted. There was a bike you could hire for a little trek round the island, and it's a good way to get around the place. I've stayed in a lot of places in India over the last 3 months, and this was one of the best.
