The stay was very pleasant, even though we only stayed for one night. The owner welcomed us at 12:30 a.m., very kind and helpful. The room is dark but very clean and has both air conditioning and a fan. Good value for money.

It is not a stay. It's an experience that one will go through. Nice and warm welcoming host who takes care of you like a family. Very close to Cherai Beach and hence very advantageous. I would definitely recommend the place

We had a wonderful stay in Cherai. This homestay made it a very memorable experience, even when only being there for one night. The host was eager to have a chat and told us of some nice places to go to. The room was beautiful and clean. We had delicious meals made by the family themselves. Having breakfast in there living room, made it an authentic experience. The brother of the host would drive us around in his Tuktuk. And since we travelled to the next place on a festival day, the host decided to bring us himself to Munnar. Which is an 5 hour drive. So, we were very grateful and had a great drive with him.

I recently had an incredible stay at Blue Bird Homestay near Cherai Beach, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail really made my visit feel special. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the things needed for a relaxing stay. The view from my room was stunning, and it was so peaceful that I could truly unwind. One of the highlights was the location – it’s just a short distance from Cherai Beach. The hotel offered a great variety of dishes, including some delicious local Kerala specialties, which were a treat! Breakfast was a delight. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend Blue Bird Homestay to anyone looking to enjoy Cherai Beach while staying in comfort and style. I can't wait to return!

Beautiful room in a beautiful house. Location was fantastic and the view of the lake at the back was stunning. The walk to the tropical beach at the front was 4 minutes! How can you beat that? About 40 restaurants within a 15 minute stroll. Our hosts were brilliant,even lending us their own personal scooter and providing a great breakfast unexpectedly.

What else can we say ? It was perfect... The room was amazing and Stains and his wife and daughter were so friendly... Very thoughtful in every detail. We felt like we were at home. The breakfast was excellent. Various and tasty. Thank you again for everything! The nearest beaches are 20 min walk away. The area is just so lovely to walk around.

Lovely large clean room with spotless modern bathroom. Great sea view from the rooms large double window. Excellent AC and fan kept the room cool. The balcony was fantastic. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and huge quantities each day, served on the balcony. A different breakfast each day (dosa, apam,idli, hoppers, fruit, fresh juice, tea/coffee). Late afternoon tea and battered snacks provided each day. A useful shop downstairs. Over the road, then over a few rocks, it is possible to swim just 50m from the room - fantastic! The main beach is about a km up the road but I was happy with nipping over the wall. Very friendly and kind people running the place. Laxmi speaks excellent English.
