Terrific guesthouse! Room was small but bed was comfortable with very warm linens, nice hot shower, super clean and great location (right next to the church). We also paid extra for breakfast (25 lari per person), a bit steeper than other places but makes sense considering how remote the village is and there was a huge amount of delicious homemade food! We asked for directions on which road to drive to get to the guesthouse which I’d recommend - do not drive through the town, go around. Very much recommend!!

Where do I even start? We’ve had the very best Khachapuri in all of Georgia here and also the most chocolateyy hot chocolate in the entire world here!! The room was stunning with a lot of attention to small details and the heating worked almost too good - we had to unplug it during the night haha! We loved absolutely everything about this place - the food, the people, the atmosphere, the dogs, you name it! Would definitely come back in summer and stay here again :)

It was the second time when we stayed at Mshvidoba, and everything was great. Although we were a big group (8 people) we fit in comfortably. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very friendly, as last time.

This guesthouse was the most satisfying night of my four-day trek from Mestia to Ushguli. Firstly the location, although you can see on the map that it's not in the centre of the village, I think it's not only less crowded than the guesthouses in the middle of the village, it's got a small courtyard and a really nice view. Also, the food here was the best I've had in four days of trekking. Last but not least, the host family is very welcoming, serving us with tea and wine, and their third daughter, anna, is really adorable! I highly recommend this guesthouse.

I travel a lot, but such a family and friendly atmosphere is very rare in family hotels. I highly recommend them, the desired breakfast, lunch and dinner, with memorable flavors and small surprises await you. We will definitely cooperate in the future. Everything was good. The host was always in touch. They were ready to help. Huge windows with the view on the towers. Coffee, tea and the amazing Svaneti salt were provided. You can find everything what you need in the kitchen (you can cook there but bring the food from Mestia because it's hard to find a shop there) and in the bathroom. We loved to stay there. Thanks!
