The owner couple were great. Super friendly. They went above and beyond helping us. We had the entire first floor with a large, very comfort living room and kitchen. This was a nice suite for an amazingly low price. I’m willing to pay double what we paid, without any hesitation, to stay there. We had to move to another place the second day because there was no room available at Cory & Torfinn House. We paid nearly double at that another place, with shared bathrooms and no one there to do anything for you.

The room was large, very light and spacious. Double bed, table that sat 2 so you could sit and stare out the window at the view, sofa in the room and hooks and coat hangers for towels or coats. The kitchen had enough equipment for cooking my own meals and a frige to store food in. Dry food I stored in my room. Large bathroom and space for parking my car. A short drive into town which would also be walkable. A local grocery store was close by too. The host popped in a couple of times and was friendly.

I spent 3 nights there in Dec 2022 and would be happy to stay there again if i revisit Faroe Islands. Central location which is close to bus terminal with supermarkets nearby. Quiet and clean room. Hot shower. Breakfast portion is big enough for me to pack the unfinished sandwich as lunch. The Indian buffet lunch is delicious and reasonably priced even if the options available are relatively limited (considering it is 62 degree N, not India Ocean). Friendly staff shared useful transportation information, and cared about the safety of a lone traveler by reminding me to tell the front desk where i was heading to and the expected return time everyday.

Wow! Great hosts! They provided a lot of useful information, both written and during conversation. Easy to get hold on and always helpful. Walking distance to the city center and also possible to park free of charge outside. Great system in the kitchen, easy to use and a lot of space. You have a Bonus shop (Cheap option) just a few minutes drive away where you will find all you need for breakfast and other meals! I loved the TV in the room with free access to Netflix!

The room was spacious and everything was well thought out. The bathroom was close so we could access it at any time. The kitchen was amazingly equipped so we cooked a lot. The bathroom downstairs has a laundry machine and a dryer but I didn't use them.
