We look back fondly on a very special time at Kemet House. We stayed for four nights in a wonderful place with an incredibly friendly host and a warm, welcoming team. The atmosphere was calm and serene, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Our room was very clean and spacious. We especially enjoyed the lovely patio, which was perfect for relaxing. There were also plenty of options for activities, making it easy to explore the area at our own pace. We loved being on this side of the river, away from the more touristy areas. Everything was perfect.

Everything is brand new. Comfortable beds, modern decore, kitchen and bathroom. Everything is clean and spacious. Very secure as well. For sure the nicest place I've stayed in Egypt and the best value by far. The owners are both very friendly, offered recommendations and could book tours (even for Abu Simbel) at fair prices but not be pushy. The location is in a nice quiet spot, very peaceful, very comfortable. The bedroom has an ac, ceiling fan and fly screen on the windows. The breakfast was a good as well.

There are not enough words in the world to describe what this place and this family mean to me. I came to stay for a pitstop and ended up staying nearly a week. Enjoy your breakfast on your own balcony, accompanied by a bagillion banana plants. Or play with the sweetest three children you’ll ever meet. Or celebrate a birthday and wedding egyptian style. Simply the very best place to stay in Luxor, away from the hustle and bustle and way closer to the best sights and the balloon ride grounds.
