Exceptional location just next to the Ramsau river and mountains. From the balcony you get to see amazing view of the mountains and nearby beautiful Bavarian style houses. It was warm and cozy inside the room. Nice that we had an exit to the balcony. The local tourist information centre was just in front of the hotel (over the river). Also, we noticed that many hiking trails that lead up to the mountains start very near this hotel. We will definitely come back in spring or summer to enjoy hiking and staying in Bergbach hotel. Moreover a pleasant surprise was the property host who spoke Latvian. He also spoke German, English and Russian. There was an option to get sauna and if we weren’t travelling with kid, would totally recommend trying because of the views you get to see from the sauna. Breakfast offered a wide variety of traditional German/Bavarian breakfast - sausages, two types of omelettes, bread, cheese, various types of meat. Also some sweets and cornflakes. Many juices and drinks (coffee,tea) to choose from. By the way, tea and coffee was for free also outside the breakfast hours.

The place is amazing, beautifully furnished room, the view in the morning is the best. Tried the pub as well, I recommend the burger and the brownie, great place to enjoy the sunset. Overall would definitely come back here!

I like the location near to Hbf and River. Rooms size are good for family 3 - 4. Nice neat and clean room very comfortable bed. View of the mountains and River from balcony. Beer and coffee are very reasonable prices. All over very good.

We have stayed here many times and always come home feeling refreshed. It's very well run, charming, relaxing, cosy and quiet. Our room was spacious with a big bathroom. Amazing views. Communal facilities are great: large, comfortable sitting room with a massive picture window onto the mountains. You don't feel crammed in with other guests. Lovely log fire. Also appreciated the sauna.
