You feel fully immersed in the jungle but also can see the ocean. You can hear the sounds of monkeys in the trees, and all the huts have hammocks. There are good places to eat within walking distance and it's also close to Bang Bao pier and fisherman's village. The huts are super clean and the staff are friendly. Definitely would stay again. Also it's great value for money.

Even inviting us to join her going to the temple etc. She is an incredibly generous and polite person. Can’t thank her enough for the many memories we collected during our 3 days stay. The Homestay is pricier than others but in my opinion worth every cent. The house is beautifully located on the canale only a short stroll from the speed boat pier. She also assisted us getting a scooter (which was even fully fueled up when we got it) amd she gave us many tips on where to go on the island.

The food in the restaurant is also amazing ( a bit more expensive for Thailand - but the quality is amazing). Would recommend to eat there at least once !!

Short Walk to the beach, or Kayak paddle down a small river, which was very cool from resort provided kayaks. Amazing, Super Friendly Family of Staff that took care of all my needs and requests.

Set in Ko Mak in the Trat Province region, Koh Mak Homestay features a garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Police Station, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. The pictures don’t do the rooms justice - my room was so cosy. The bed was very soft and it was nicely decorated. It’s nearby a little convenience shop and a bicycle rental. The host was kind enough to drive me to the pier on my last day.

Sightseeing tours are available within easy reach. If you would like to discover the area, snorkelling, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings and the guest house can arrange a bicycle rental service. Awesome place with a unique vibe. Good community. Very laid back. Like a really cool hostel, but you get your own room. Highly recommend!
