Enjoying a privileged location in the historic center of Lisbon, the property is a former palace whose construction dates back to the 16th century. This boutique hotel combines modern comfort with a classic atmosphere. A palace were you get treated as loyalty. Amazing facility super clean, lovely staff with great location.

Free WiFi is available and the cosy terrace outside is ideal for warm evenings. Some of the rooms offer a view overlooking the garden. Everything. The local is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast was amazing (highlight to Natalia, a Brazilian who worked that and made everything as perfect as possible), and the staff was welcoming. Also, the fact that there was water downstairs at any time was very thoughtful.

Anjo Azul is a renovated 18th century property, featuring a modern décor and a charming façade covered with Portuguese tiles. Located in a tranquil street at the heart of historic Lisbon, it is just 300 metres from Camões Square, in Chiado. Rossio is a 5-minute walk, while the lively bars of Bairro Alto are at a short walking distance. The staff was there 24/7, very helpful and nice. The hotel is very flexible with check out times, which is handy for people like us who stayed out late the night before in Bairro Alto. Everyday when we came back after a long day in Lisbon the room was perfectly cleaned, organized and stocked with fresh towels.

The location is perfect, right on the main walking street, so no car traffic noise, just got a bit noisy on the weekend, but the double paneled window cut out most of it. The breakfast rooftop terrace was extraordinary! And the staff were exceptional...
