She took us in her car all around the island, showed us local " hang out" for nurse sharks, gave us tips on eating out, let us use her bikes. The bungalow is spotless clean and everything in great working condition. A big bonus - drinking water is provided. Transfers were included. A nice fridge is a plus.

During our 5 weeks of travel aroud the world this was the best experience. The lodge is spacious, good quiet location, most of all very very nice owners who took care of us. Great place! We stayed in the apartment that would be comfortable for long stays as well. Fully furnished, very well equipped and super functional. The bed was super comfortable. The huge terrace with a view where we spent most of the time. Henry was amazing host! Going above everything we expected.

Rangiroa Bliss is as off-the-grid as you can get. "High-style" local Polynesian bungalows. Rainwater for the showers and toilets, bring your own drinking water, and solar electric (that worked most of the time). Fans and sea breezes, no A/C. No WiFi, "two-bar" cellular. Good for email, marginal for the internet. There is a "road" to "town" but it doesn't connect to the road from the airport. On a busy day, maybe six cars went by. You want to escape traffic, this is the place. Boats are how you get around. Snorkeling and kayaking right off the beach of our bungalow. Excursions to places around the atol come right to your deck to pick you up. There are some cool adventures, do them. Ilona, the host, is an excellent cook. Polynesian comfort food. Take the meal plan. Bring your own alcohol and snacks for lunch. Easy to get a taxi to the local grocery store from the airport when you arrive, if you ask. Then, taxi will take you to the boat that shuttles you to the place. Our cup of tea, we loved it. Your mileage may differ.
