Good facility with plenty of solar powered hot water, clean, well situated at the center if Kathmandu, away from the more touristy Thamel, very safe. A genuine Nepalese experience in a great neighbourhood. I stayed February/March 2025 and only left because it was fully booked beyond the dates I initially booked. Im hopeful its available next trip! Bobby owns and operates the place and made my stay awesome, picked me up from the airport and took me to many places it would have been difficult to arrange to go to; showed me all the essential shops in the area (theres a great convenience store downstairs) and gave me many tips on how to navigate the city's peculiarities. Its proximity to the Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) is a major draw, allowing for easy access to this significant cultural site. We love frequently highlight the exceptional helpfulness of the staff, who contribute significantly to a pleasant experience. The inn's rooftop terrace is a standout feature, providing stunning views of the surrounding Kathmandu Valley. Additionally, the availability of reliable Wi-Fi great for WiFi junket and hot showers is consistently praised. The location, while peaceful, remains conveniently accessible to other areas of interest. emphasize the good value for money, free drinking refill center ,travel desk for ask question and free cup of hot tea .bed is comfy and beautiful Colour and beautiful local art and mountain photo in room.

U will find many sitting spots in the complex where u can work peacefully or just enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Attached to it is the nunnery and also a beautiful garden. It’s only 6m walk to the Stupa. Near the entrance there is a new clinic in case u need to do some checks. Many local restaurants are nearby. The price is modest and funds the nunnery 🙏🙏🙏

We stayed in the heritage room overlooking the Square - and as described you need to climb the stairs to get to this room and the private rooftop area. There are not many places you can get to stay in a hotel with such history and heritage. Very happy with this hotel, and room selection. if you have mobility issues - this may not be the room for you - select an alternate room on a lower floor. Meals at this hotel were fabulous, loved the soda drink menu! i tried nearly all of them ! Meals are served in a very beautiful internal courtyard decorated with wood carvings and plants. Owners and staff were very very helpful with any of the questions we asked, and assisted us with our bags on arrival and departure; organised taxi to the airport (excellent rate). Located on a nice quiet square, and it was magical to sit by the window and watch the scene change during the day. Easy walk from this hotel to the other squares in Bhaktapur. Thoroughly recommend at least 1-2 nights in this city to explore and unwind. Excellent wifi at all time, in our room and in courtyard. We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel and will defintely be staying here again.

We stayed in a suite and it was absolutely fantastic. Lovely furnished, with a style, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, the stuff lovely, and the place is located close to the stupa but it’s quiet. I would definitely stay again. Additionally, the foundation does a lot of humanitarian work which I was happy to support.

Kathmandu Madhuban Guest House se encuentra en Katmandú, a 11 min a pie de Hanuman Dhoka, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. Lovely hotel, staff so friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and comfy and the breakfasts so good. It was so central to the tourist hub but the hotel itself was more among locals which we liked.

Zen Nest Hotel se encuentra en Katmandú, a 3,1 km de Templo de Swayambhunath y a 5,1 km de Templo Pashupatinath. The owner and the staff were incredibly helpful and very welcoming. They were always ready to answer questions and give directions and even recommended a good restaurant and timing for momo. The owner also helped me to book the tourist bus without charging any commission. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained. I love my short stay here. I will definitely reserve a stay here if I ever visit Kathmandu again.
