Each unit is fitted with air conditioning, a private bathroom and a well-fitted kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave, fridge and a stovetop. A patio with an outdoor dining area and quiet street views is offered in every unit. At the guest house, units come with bed linen and towels. This was an excellent stay! The room was clean, it had AC, every room had its own wifi, secure parking, and a kitchenette location so we could keep cold drinks. Our hosts were incredible...we had an issue with our rental car and Carlos helped with communication to a mechanic and even drove us into town while we waited. I could not recommend Casa Coral more while visiting Bacalar.

The location was perfect. 5-10 minutes away from all resutarants and bars, so we were able to go out a lot and also stay in the hotel without hearing the music too loud.

Our room was huge, with the terrace in front it was a perfect setup for the start of our Mexican trip. The hosts were amazing - super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The boat trip with David was fantastic! Keep in mind that there are times of the day when there's no electricity in the village - it's not an issue but a lifestyle :)

Unfortunately we only booked for one night but we wished we could stay more. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and exactly how you see in the pictures. There is a dock to jump in the water and you can have a charmful swim in the laguna. There are also chairs and an amaca to relax, and at night you can see the fish thanks to underwater lights. The hotel has 5 kayak that offer to the customers free of charge and you can visit the cenotes nearby. Bacalar town is 5 minutes drive away or 25 walking. They also offer breakfast with very reasonable prices and you can enjoy it in their terrace. One of our best staying during our trip around Mexico, super recommended!

The guest house has family rooms. Incredible location close to passenger ferry port but away from main cruise ship hub. 1 road off the main drag with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Secure property and very quiet. Beautiful backyard garden with seating area. Theresa is a wonderful helpful host with the best little dog Booking that greets you!! I love that she has maps available, free water, book exchange. There’s a little shared kitchen with coffee tea fridge sink toaster microwave kettle and you could buy beers or sodas if you like on an honour system. Room is clean comfortable and spacious. We booked a family studio which had a king bed and full size fridge, coffee machine and microwave. Next time we’d likely just get a room and use the shared kitchen as we didn’t cook much.
