This is the most incredible family run hotel, I cannot praise it enough. Located just down the road from the National Park so it's the most perfect resting spot either before or after a Safari. You cannot really describe the tranquility and peaceful ambiance of this hotel, it is incredible! The rooms are immaculately clean, really comfortable and well presented. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and were so kind and friendly to both us and our children. The hotel has a fantastic pool which is the perfect place to cool off in the afternoon. The food is some of the best that we have tasted whilst travelling Sri Lanka, completely delicious and freshly cooked dinner and breakfast. The value for money is excellent and you get the feel of high end at a really reasonable price. I'd say that this hotel is a must stay whilst visiting this area. We plan to return on our next trip. The staff was very helpful with everything, arranging our tour, and answering all of our questions prior to our trip. The room was very clean and modern, and the bathroom was also spotless and beautiful

This place was one of my favourites in Sri Lanka! It is quite a lovely surprise! Calm area, very nice outdoor setting, the room was very spacious (as well as the bathroom!) So let's talk details: - The food: Amazing! home made food served on a banana leaf, accompanied by candle lights and the sounds of nature! - The Safari: Dimu provided us with the contact of a local who drives safari cars, and who was very nice company on my trip! He gave me a few pointers, and was very flexible with my requests. - The Massage: They also have a nearby masseuse who offers traditional Sri Lanki Ayurvedic massage in her home, with home made oils/creams.... Oh my God! It was so good, I did not want it to end! - The helpfulness: Dimu also arranged a taxi to my next destination, and made sure I was fully safe as I was travelling alone and it was quite late at night. He joined the trip to help me feel safe! Overall, totally worth it, you will really enjoy! !

Perfect located in Udawalawe, close to restaurants and not far from the Elephant Transit Home. Janith was an excellent host, making the little extra for us. He even drove us to the Elephant Transit Home in his jeep when we asked him if it was easy to get there by TukTuk. For breakfast make sure to ask him for his mother’s delicious toast!

La Casa Safari Resort está en Udawalawe, a 11 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, y ofrece equipamiento como jardín, terraza, bar y wifi gratis. Es un pequeño resort de grandes cabañas perdido en medio de la naturaleza. El servicio fue muy atento, nos prepararon una cena y un desayuno típico buenísimos. La cama era amplia y cómoda y todo estaba muy limpio. También hicimos con ellos el Safari que fue increíble. Nuestro guía fue amable y muy atento, se preocupó en todo momento de que viéramos muchos anímales y tuvo el detalle de traernos agua y merienda. Muy recomendable!

The Cottage is situated in a quite location but is still very close to the center. The shower was beautiful and also the garden area very nice. Food was great and also the host was very friendly and helpful with safari and daytrip bookings.
