I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the host and his family. He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

My stay at Corner Cottage will remain a positive memory of my time in Sri Lanka. Gihan and his wife truly care for all of their guests, looking after their wellbeing and also allowing for independence and privacy. It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU dispone de alojamiento con aire acondicionado en Nochchiyagama. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Las habitaciones son enormes, nuevas y con un porche a un jardín, el trato fue encantador, la comida muy rica y la ayuda al organizar el safari fueron de 10, volvería sin lugar a duda.

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort, que cuenta con bicicletas gratis, jardín y wifi gratis, se encuentra en Habawewa, a 39 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank y a 39 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. The property is right outside the national park. Very convenient, and the room is super neat, the dinner we had was delicious, and wholesome! The owners were extremely friendly and accomodating (the wife made beautiful omelette upon our special request for dinner). The owner’s son guided us on a half day safari trip. We had a wonderful experience - beautiful family!!

Swan Lake Habarana se encuentra en Habarana, a 12 km de Pidurangala Rock, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado si quieres moverte por la zona de Sigiriya, Dambulla y Habarana. Las instalaciones están muy limpias y en un entorno muy agradable y cuidado. El trato del personal es inmejorable y muy familiar. El desayuno es muy completo y con productos de su propio jardín. Lo recomiendo 100%. Volvería sin dudarlo.

VISU VILLA hotel está en Habarana, a 10 km de Pidurangala Rock, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. It’s very rustic and simple. AC is very functional. There were a few hiccups, but the outstanding staff addressed everything immediately. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious. There isn’t a lot to do in Habarana, but it’s a great location to stay if you want to visit the cave temple, Sigiriya, Miniriya and Polonnaruwa. The first three are less than 30 mins away. Polonnaruwa was a fast hour.

The guest room upstairs is very spacious and tidy. The balcony is a lovely place to chill out in the evening. The host’s cooking is fabulous. We had both breakfast and dinner and throughly enjoyed it. We also had our laundry done promptly. We parked our rented tuk tuk safely in the front garden of the Sweet Home. All was sweet and sound! A really nice place with a beautiful family that is caring about their guests a lot! The rooms are big and clean, the shower as well as the AC was really good! Also the pool was clean and refreshing :) The breakfast and dinner was amazing and different every day - really worth it. We got a little cold and the whole family cared so much for us, even made a fresh veggie soup and didnt even charge for it! Thank you Mama Anuradhapura and family 🧡
