It's situated in a charming local neighborhood filled with delightful restaurants and bars. Ellen's house is spacious, featuring a large lobby where you can work, relax, or enjoy a coffee—Ellen even has a real coffee maker! The entrance is impeccably clean, just like the rest of the house. The room only had a fan, but that wasn't an issue; the window with a net screen provided fantastic ventilation. The cold water in the bathroom wasn't as cold as you might expect, but it was at a pleasant temperature. If you need hot water in a shower, it's conveniently available downstairs, there is bathroom you can use. There's also a kitchen where you can prepare a sandwich or slice some fruit to enjoy on a plate. Everything is tidy and user-friendly. You can also make free refill of your bottles! And there is also a fridge to store your meal / cool your bottles... You can pay by card upon your arrival at the property. It's just a short walk from the pier, but I wouldn't recommend bringing a suitcase; a backpack is much more practical due to the lack of regular roads. One of the highlights of M'Pai village is definitely the food. There are numerous fantastic restaurants! After my experience in Koh Rong, where finding good food was a challenge, this felt like a culinary paradise. Seapony is perfect for breakfast, while Dragonfly is great for drinks and light meals—especially their baba ganoush with flatbread! I ended up extending my stay because the location was simply wonderful. For 5usd you can take a water taxi to other beaches but I prefered M´Pai vibes.

It is 26 km to Sihanoukville. I enjoyed my stay at Bunnan Bungalows very much. The staff were like family, very helpful, accomodating and friendly. They offer scooters for rent or taxi service. They have an own kitchen and the food is very delicious with big portions. I booked a snorkelling trip through the hotel and was very content. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed relaxing there. The place has great Wifi, which is very practical if you are working remotely. They keep the beach clean and its remote location guarantees no party buzz. Can highly recommend and will gladly come back! :-)

The property was built in 2025 and features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The guest house has private entrance. I had an amazing experience at The Hide Out. The welcome was exceptionally warm, and you immediately feel at home. The hosts go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay — nothing is too much trouble. They also give great tips about what to do on the island. The bungalows have been recently renovated and are beautifully decorated, with everything you might need. If you’re visiting Koh Rong, I can highly recommend this place!

Honestly is the cheapest but the best place to stay in Koh Rong island, nothing is missing and the experience is so nice

The guest house has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. These bungalows exceeded my wildest expectations. This is exactly the quiet oasis I was looking for. Located on a peaceful part of the island with rustic bungalows that have an unbelievable amount of care and detail to them. From the extra towels to the refillable water, coffee/tea, mini fridge, mosquito net and even citronella sticks. John (the owner) is extremely sweet and even offers snorkeling gear. I wasn't expecting too much from the reef here cause I was here during rainy season but was very pleasantly surprised. Most importantly there are two hammock pavilions with an amazing view! Could not possibly ask for anything else!

It is set less than 1 km from M’Pai Bay Wild Beach and provides bicycle parking. It is possible for guests to sit outside and enjoy the property grounds. Such a great experience! Sam’s place is inviting and cozy, very clean and nicely organized. You basically have your own little living room while here which is such an additional value. You have coffee and tea whenever you need it, and she offers drinking water as well so you can minimize the plastic pollution on the island. You get two strong fans so we had no trouble sleeping at all. She truly makes you feel like home ❤️

Each room is fitted with a balcony with garden views and free WiFi. The place is magical, in the middle og the jungle so it's very cool, no need of aircon. The sound of nature is so peaceful. We enjoyed so much our stay there and the owner are extremely nice, you will feel like at home!
