Our host Roberto could not have been more helpful: sending us lots of information before we arrived and recommending excellent places to eat in Agrigento and at our next destination. Best of all was the Valley of the Temples itself : breathtaking and unmissable. Staying at Casa sul Mare meant we could visit in the evening, which is very atmospheric, especially when they floodlight the temples. Our hosts made sure we got to the right car park at the right time to avoid the crowds. Casa sul Mare is set in a lovely garden and was very quiet, although handy for the main road. There's a shared kitchen so you could self-cater to some extent. Roberto provided a 'help yourself' breakfast for free since they weren't cooking because early in the season. Highly recommended.

The property has city and quiet street views, and is 500 metres from Teatro Luigi Pirandello. Free private parking is available and the guest house also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. Beautiful room with amazing bathroom. Location was more than perfect. The parking is just a few minutes away by foot. We had a delicious breakfast included in our stay.
