This was the best guesthouse during my stay in Iceland, well located with wonderful views on the fjord from the windows of my room. Spottlessly clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast divine. Late check in was not an issue at all.

The view was amazing and it makes you feel quite independent, as when you get in, you find a paper with your name and room. It doesn't give the "hostel" feeling. Kitchen had everything to cook a proper meal and had some tea. Bathroom even had a hairdryer. Liked the unique artsy touch - paintings and the little things that made the place beautiful. There is a local hot pool nearby just across the road. Definitely worth it! Did not had the opportunity to try out, but you can order fresh eggs and produce.
