Ivory Coaste está en Kannur, a 5 min a pie de Playa de Thottada, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis y jardín. I liked everything about this small guesthouse. To start off, Aparna is the best hostess you could ever ask for. A very warm, welcoming and funny lady. I feel we became friends by the end of my week stay. Next, you basically have a private huge beach a short nice walk away which was a treasure. Then there is the delicious cooking. Each morning I got to try some very Kerela authentic breakfast items, which I greatly enjoyed. I specifically came to see the Thayyam ( Google it, they are super unique and cool to this region of Kerela) and Aparna - was able to arrange a great driver/guide to bring me to see them. You can also see black pepper, cinnamon, curry, tamarind, mangoes, pineapples and jack fruit all growing on the property! Ivory Coaste is the perfect place to relax and decompress. Especially if you’ve been traveling a long while like I had been doing. Also, there was a great mix of guests from around the world, so it was great exchanging stories with them. All in all, my time spent here was one of the highlights from my 2 months in India!

Johnson's Homestay With Pool & Ecohouseboat near town beach está en Alappuzha, a 13 min a pie de Playa de Alleppey, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Johnson is a cool guy with a cool home and a cool sense of humour. Located a 10 minute walk from the beach in one direction and 10 minute walk from the main shopping area in the other. Johnson also arranged for me a day out on a canoe amongst the villagers on the backwaters at short notice which I highly recommend for a true taste of the Kerala backwaters and Keralan life. Thank you, Johnson, for a great stay in alleppey!

Magnolia Guesthouse Varkala dispone de piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza en Varkala. Great location just away from the main action in Varkala. Very peaceful. The main reasons to stay here are the staff and the food, both of which are exceptional. We were looked after when we changed our booking and then due to flight delays arrived at 1am. Devan provided excellent service and nothing was too much trouble for them. Hom Raj also looked after us for meals and drinks. We didn’t eat much from then European menu but the Keralan dishes (fish in banana leaf, malabari fish and prawn masala) were excellent. My partner cooks a lot of various regional Indian food and didn’t feel like going anywhere else. The rooms are basic in their facilities but very good value. Would happily stay again.
