I've stayed in many great places in Ecuador, but this one was the best of all of them. It's a wonderful old building, and so much thought was put into the traditional decoration, this is one of those rare places I could have called my home . The room was spacious, the communal kitchen with fridge very well equipped, the bathroom clean, and the communal room was cosy. I would have loved to sit by the fireplace on a cold night (but it wasn't cold). Quiet location but still very close to the bus station and the centre, and on top of that, Roberto is a great host. What can I say? It's perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at Hostal Curiñan, we were welcomed reallt warmly by our host who showed us the kitchen area to be able to cook our dinner. The room was spacious, cosy and comfortable. The view from the hostal on Otavalo is incredible!

The location is serene and stunning, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural beauty. The house itself is brand new, adding to the comfort of the stay. Just across the street, there is a breathtaking view of the lagoon, which adds to the charm of the place. To top it off, the food was absolutely amazing – a true highlight of our experience. Highly recommended!

Hostal Arauco se encuentra en Otavalo, en la región de Imbabura, a 25 km de Museo Nacional del Banco Central del Ecuador. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Secure parking for our motos inside the hotel with an easy access (room for a few cars, too, but in one line). Very good value, price lowest in town. Room comfortable. Could use dining area for PC. Location two blocks from tourist area, so quiet, no qualms walking area. Wifi ok. And a simple breakfast included.

Hospedaje Vertientes del Imbabura tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante en Otavalo. Loved our host, very sweet people and didn't mind me using Google translate to communicate better. He even took us to a few places most visitors probably don't think about. They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.
