What a wonderful surprise to have discovered B&B Stirnimann for our two night stay while touring Switzerland. The area is peaceful and lovely and the stay was everything we could ever want and more. Our hosts offered us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The accommodations were not just clean but absolutely spotless and our room was cozy, spacious and very comfortable. We were allowed to use the full kitchen and living room and porch in addition to our room and that was such a treat for us on our long trip. The best part you ask? The best part was Hedi our host who we instantly adored. She is a gracious, funny, kind and friendly force of nature who made sure we were comfortable, offered touring and local information and provided us with a full delicious breakfast. There are some people and places that enhance a trip in special ways that you know you will never forget. Staying at B&B Stirnimann and meeting Hedi will hold a special place in our memory and we hope to return someday.

Pension Chesselberg se encuentra en Buckten, en la región de Cantón de Basilea-Campiña, a 22 km de Ciudad romana de Augusta Raurica. Loved the effort the owner put in the furniture and color choice. Everything went smoothly, the room is big and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and I could even park my e-bike in the garage.

Ambrosia Guesthouse se encuentra en Rheinfelden, a 18 km de Pfalz, Basilea y a 18 km de Museo de Arquitectura. The Ambrosia Guesthouse completely exceeded my expectations! Check-in with co-owner Anthony was quick and friendly, with great tips for visiting the beautiful medieval town of Rheinfelden. The room is attractively decorated with many little unexpected extras, such as bedside charging stations with multiple ports and high quality toiletries (soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner). The room was clean and comfortable, with blinds and dark curtains for a good sleep. The location is excellent, being only 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk to the old town. The neighbourhood is quiet, clean and safe. In the morning we enjoyed a lovely fresh breakfast, much of which is homemade by the charming Nathalie and Anthony. The breakfast area is bright and charming, with many lovely little treats and unlimited coffee! We will definitely return again next year when visiting Art Basel, which is easily reached by train and tram from this location.
