This place is really amazing! It is even more beautiful and spacious than in the pictures. We stayed here for like 10 days. The room is beautiful and comfortable. The hospitality is amazing. They arranged a brand new bike for us, ordered pizza’s for us and gave us coffee when we asked for it during the day. The breakfast is really good, even the best we had during our stay in the Philippines and we liked the fresh fruits a lot that came with the breakfast. On the bike it is a like a 10 minute drive to El Nido center. We loved it to stay in this quiet area. Lio beach was our favorite beach in El Nido and it was a 5 minute drive from Casa Buko. Thank you so much to Rose, her husband, sister and Vera for making this place feeling like home ❤️

I love this place, from the moment I went through the gate I felt that this place is something special. I didn't expected a to find a place like that. The owner gave me an upgrade which was really kind. I was the only guest for that time so I felt like a VIP. During this time I spend a lot with the owner Dean. And I wanna say a special thank to Dean for this amazing time. I had the possibility to spend the whole time with Dean and his friend Christoph (also lives at Bucana Beach). Because of Dean we had a private boot and went to Nacpan Beach for snorkeling and barbecue. Also a special thank you to Chris (the cook, the driver and men for everythingI for driving me everywhere and to Shirley, she guided me through this time. Through Shirley I had the possibility to give a free dance workshop in High school from Bucana. I get touched with the locals which was amazing. If you are looking for a place to find peace, this place is definitely one of the best place on earth. Thank you Dean, Shirley, Chris and his son and Christoph for this amazing time which will always be in my heart and I will never forget! I didn't thought that a vacation turn into making friends! If you are looking for something a little away from the hustle & bustle of tourists - this place is the place to be! Located on the seafront in the local village. Only a 10minute walk from the main strip of the town & all amenities. Gordon & his wife Christina go out of their way to help you in any way they can. A real authentic stay. Lovely neighbours & people. Gordon also runs a crossfit course for young people in the local community which was lovely to see and hear about. If I could rate my stay a 12 out of 10 I would. Loved this place. Felt like home. I stayed in the dorm which was absolutely perfect. Facilities are very clean & beds comfortable. Coffee, tea & water at your disposal with breakfast on offer at an extra price. Already thinking of returning.

Gordo and Cristina are formidable hosts, very kind and helpful. I initally booked 2 nights there and ended up staying 5 nights. The guesthouse really feels like home with everything needed and easy to socialise with the hosts and other guests. It is located in a district of locals a bit outside the crowd of the city center (but easily reachable at 10mn walking distance), which was pleasant. The room and bathrooms were clean, the breakfast very good. I'll surely come back next time I go to El Nido.

Great location, if you want it a bit more quiet, but still in walkable distance to the town center. The hosts are very welcoming and will help you to organize tours or plan activities. Also: -best breakfast pancakes!!!!!!!! -free water and tea -USB plugs -balcony with great view
