What a gem we found! It was just perfect! Felt welcome the second I arrived. Kevin and Marlene were super attentious, caring and a great source of knowledge, not only about Dauin, but also about all the other places that I planned to visit, like Moalboal and Malapascua. On top of that, they are both divemasters, have contacts in loads of dive centers, and can easily help to organise fun dives or certifications. The accommodation was clean, spacious, well looked after and the food was delicious! It was perfect! Thank you so much to the both of you! 5 stars!😊

Very comfortable, new, and clean apartment with everything you need for a week or longer if you don't need a tv or a kitchen. There is a fridge and a kettle to make coffee or instant meals, which was completely sufficient for us. There was also an emergency light in the room in case of a power outage, which was good because it happens sometimes in the Philippines. Two towels were provided per person, which was great. The owners are really nice and always eager to help with everything. They even picked us up from Larena pier when we arrived and took us back there when we left for a very low rate, using the motorbike we rented from them. This was very kind and convenient for us. The rental price was slightly higher than in other places, but it is a very good and new bike so it was worth it. Renting a motorbike is definitely recommended, as the accommodation is a bit further from the main area. However, the location is still good, as it is situated between Siquijor town (5 min) and the tourist area of San Juan (10-15 min). Another big plus is that the owners are very animal-friendly and even help stray dogs in need. One of their dogs barked at us quite a bit in the beginning, but he is actually very sweet. After a few days, he got used to us, stopped barking, and even let us pet him. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Marilag. Thank you for everything! :)

You must stay here when visiting Siquijor!! We were only meant to stay here 2 nights but decided to stay 10! The staff are so friendly and go above and beyond to treat you like family from the minute we arrived. They are all so helpful with local knowledge of the area, genuinely the nicest people we have met. The bed was super comfy and the room and bathroom was clean, there's a space to chill and eat or even do some karaoke. The location is perfect with it being so close to the beachs where you can watch the sunset with a cocktail. A huge thank you, we will definitely be coming back to stay here again! <3
