I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

Second time stayed here, as great as ever. Cool person in charge always in answering my query without miss. 24 hours hot shower, clean bed, and necessary amenities are just around the corner. New paint and decorations making the space more warm and uplifting. Still the best in its class in Swayambu.

It’s clean, green, peaceful, in a great location if you want to be near the stupa, and the staff are wonderful. The food is excellent too.

I recently stayed at Zen Nest during my trip to Nepal, and it was an incredible experience. The location is perfect—right near Thamel and Basantapur, making it easy to explore the city's vibrant nightlife. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the room was clean and incredibly comfortable. I had an amazing time and will definitely be returning to Zen Nest on my next visit!

This is "Top 3" in my own hostels rating. We felt like at home of the best friend: cooked and eat in the kitchen, chilled on the roof and in the yard looking at Swayambhu. The housekeeper was perfect, very kind and helpful. The room was also very nice: nothing super-special but "made with love".

Khangsar Home is a 10-minute walk from the famous Kumari Ghar Temple and Durbar Square in Kathmandu. Its simple rooms come with mountain views and free Wi-Fi.

Sijan is best staff this hotel is very good and nice: The location is in the center and near good Restaurants for easy accessibility. Sijan also booked for me transport for an early morning checkout to catch my Bus to Pokharah.
