What a lovely place to stay in Penang. I absolutely loved the architecture - it has a charming cultural vibe, right in the middle of George Town where you can walk to everything. So many nice restaurants around too (but if you're indecisive like me, just message them on WhatsApp, they reply instantly, even to my very random questions... thank you for your patience!). The staff are genuinely the sweetest. Ashan greeted us on the first day with such warmth, and everyone we met was kind, generous, and just really good people. One even showed my dad how to play a local board game - such a sweet moment ❤️✌️ I feel bad I didn’t ask for all your names. I really should have. But to the whole team, thank you so much for making our stay so easy and memorable. You made Penang feel extra special 💕

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel ! The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Location was perfect close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Stayed at 2 Aayu properties while I was in Penang and good experience at both largely due to the on-site staff. The team are super responsive and full of good information about the local area. The two places I stayed in were refurbished heritage buildings so the sound insulation is not perfect but if you have respectful guests around you then it’s fine. The rooms I chose weren’t huge but they didn’t claim to be and the shared spaces are well maintained and good spots to chill.

We loved our stay here! The host was very nice and helpful, often going out of her way to help us and give us information to make our trip better! The accommodation was well equipped with things such as free drinking water and tea. The room was clean and the accommodation was in a good location near shops, local restaurants and a food court.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful self check-in hotel. The check-in process was smooth and super easy, with clear instructions provided. The location was quiet and convenient, making it a peaceful getaway. Although there was no front desk, the service was still excellent through online support.
