We are in luck because the property is new! We chose to stay here because we wanted to experience how is it feels like staying in a local heritage houses in Penang. We love how the owner transformed the prewar shophouses into modern living heritage guesthouse while preserve the authenticity vibes of the property. The location is pretty good since everything is walking distance, its a pretty chill and quiet atmosphere, perfect if you want to relax and just enjoy the city in a beautiful place. Would totally come back here if I had to! Also, the hosts are super nice if you want to experience a local recommendation they're super open and willing to help :)

We went there for Chinese New Year and got some small presents (🥠)! There was also some small breakfast available and the host helped us with all our questions! The location is the beste and it was the best accommodation in Malaysia! Self check in was super easy and communication was great with the host.

I had a most comfortable stay at 68 Church Street. The hotel is located in a recently renovated heritage house in a quiet yet central location. The room has a sleek, white design with high ceilings. This, combined with a powerful AC allows for a cool feeling. The premises are kept spotless. The common area has a fridge, microwave and water kettle. Self check-in instructions via WhatsApp were clear and friendly and the staff do their best to make guests' stay as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommended.

It’s a traditional shophouse with over 100 years history. The room was very spacious and newly renovated so it’s full equipped. We arrived early morning but was allowed an early checkin. The staff was very helpful, thoughtful and hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay there. Would definitely stay there if we visit Penang again!
