We loved everything at Dandelion property. Our room was big, comfortable, clean, bright. The hotel is located near the main road but it was quite silent, and we could sleep very well. Generator of the hotel worked very well during the power cuts. Very nice to have a working fridge keeping our water and fruits fresh ! The owner is the kindest we've met in Sri Lanka. Very good english, very good manners. Professional. Good tips. The room was cleaned during our stay with new sheets and towels. 100% recommended, probably our best homestay in the country.

I had rented a tuk tuk which had an oil leak, the staff went out of their way on a public holiday to locate and escort me to a garage where this could be repaired, whilst negotiating a price and ensuring this was a fair price. Perfect location just 1 min walk from the beach (across the road). Room is clean and cozy. Bed is comfortable. Owner is very caring and helpful. Delicious breakfast is provided in a next door restaurant, which opens at 8:30-09:00, please take this in consideration when you book with breakfast. Nearby there are a lot of restaurants, what is definitely good. On the other hand, you have to be prepared it might be noisy in the late evening.
