We loved our stay here - the views from the property were amazing and the rooms were comfortable and homely. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay. The dinner we had here was one of the best sri lankan meals of our trip. We would recommend this stay to anyone :)

We came as strangers and left as friends! Saman and his wife Madushi and his brother Shan together with their mum are incredible hosts! They are so friendly and helpful and gave us many tips for the area. The guesthouse was exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful view from the cozy and bright room. Food was always very delicious. The area is very calm, you can see sunrise and sunset from the tea plantation just 5 minutes from the guesthouse. We've planned to stay two nights but because it was so nice there we changed our plans and stayed longer. We also visited the local Sunday market to buy fresh vegetables and made a fabulous cooking course and learned how to cook traditional currys. We highly recommend to go there and experience unforgettable days in the middle of tea plantations. Thank you Saman, Shan and Family for the last days - We enjoyed every moment at your wonderful place. We will come back one day :-)

Guesthouse run by a young, smiling Franco–Sri Lankan couple. Our stay was really wonderful, the area is not touristy and feels very authentic. The tea plantations are simply stunning. Personally, it was my favourite part of the whole trip to Sri Lanka. The room was large and clean. We also had dinner at their upstairs restaurant on both nights, for a really small price. We used the laundry service as well. I highly recommend staying here, above all for the great overall experience. Thank you!

The owners are very kind and helpful people. The room and the bathroom also (with hot water and basic toiletries) were very clean, there is a nice view from the room. The room comes with some tea bags, a kettle and bottled water. Kalai prepared a nice breakfast for my request, it had some additional cost, but it was more than enough. She called a tuk tuk for me to the train station too. I highly recommend this place. :-)

This family guesthouse is a really wonderful experience. We arrived a little earlier than planned and the room was promptly made available for us. They helped with all of our questions & arranged a bike for us and we had a lovely breakfast every morning on the balcony. Beautiful house at remote location in the mountains. This is the perfect place for everyone who is looking for a quite place surrounded by nature. Munira is the nicest host and all the staff is amazing. We had breakfast and dinner at the house and it was always very delicious! Highly recommended!

I've been to White Monkey 8 years ago and I am here again! Breathtaking views, peaceful and quiet location and almost no tourists around! You will definitely fall in love with this place and plan to come back! The family is helpful and friendly, the dogs are super cute. Another plus is hot water in the shower. We also enjoyed the tradition of gathering at the same table with other guests for dinner. Eating delicious homemade food and sharing experiences. P.S. Highly recommend taking a bus to the factory and then walking the remaining 7 km to the Lipton's seat on foot.

What an amazing family!! So friendly and welcoming. We also got an amazing breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed. Spacious room, comfy bed, extra coffee and tea and stunning view from the balcony!
