The beautiful decor, spacious rooms, amazing breakfasts, quiet location just in the backstreet off the main drag, only 10m walk to the night markets. But most of all the exceptional staff, especially Ms Phut, who made us feel like family. Everything was so simple to arrange. We stayed for a week and could have stayed longer.

The guesthouse Is very clean with nice tropical Gardena. The swimming pool Is big And clean. The food in restaurant absolutelly delicious. We recommend! Merry Riverside Hotel it was of my best lucky choices for accommodation in Laos, moreover, for Luang Prabang, I think it is probably the really best one! Why? Because if you are coming from West to meet tranquility and spiritual world of Asia, you need Nature, Water and Positive Energetic Environment! If you are looking for the same topics which I'm looking for, definitely that's your place too. It is exactly what is it in its name : the city river side , you'll have the chance to take a deep breath of authentic taste of Laos. I spent 5 days and 5 nights in this unique place, assisted by a very kind and helpful staff. I had a room with a city wiew, and for a small amount, I got an updated statement for a Riverside room within my last 3 days. The rooms have an authentic design, specifically Lao, well done decorated, surprisingly more bigger than I thought, equipped efficiently with a lot of corners ready to host all your travelling stuff:) Bathrooms are also very spacious and very efficiently distributed with particular shower area as well. The breakfast is served on the riverside terrace, which was the best morning moments. I rent a motorbike direct from the hotel, for a full day of 24 hours, under their kind assistance too. Good location. Near morning market and night market. Many eateries around the area and walking distance to all attractions and jetty for the boat ride. Neat and clean room. Great breakfast choices also. Most importantly the staff are superb, friendly and helpful. Thank you so much Ben and his wife made my stay so pleasant and thanks for all your help.
