Host, Leon was excellent from start to finish. He was welcoming, conversational and couldn't do enough to make our stay better. The cooked to order breakfast was outstanding, I think his wife gets the credit for that 😁. Room was comfortable and the little extras, tea, coffee, biscuits and chilled water were all spot on. Would definitely stay there again if in Penrith. Well run place with a great host.

We just finished a lovely one night stay at the White House and can highly recommend staying here for your visit of the Lake District. We had a lovely stay here- the rooms are a good size and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! They’re very dog friendly and our dog loved the gardens, the view from the back garden is beautiful. We’ll definitely come back and stay for longer next time.
