Super friendly owner, great location, parking off-street. Nice small breakfast. Very cool bar at the ground floor. Close to Melrose Abbey which was our target. Would definitely stay again.

Everything .. comfort, cleanliness, food, friendliness. Enjoyed everything about our stay from the minute we walked through the door. William is so welcoming and makes you feel at ease straight away. The breakfasts were really tasty, and the porridge was the best I've ever tasted, so creamy, buy very filling! The house is beautiful and is a credit to you both, we hope to come back one day soon. Would highly recommend Allerton House.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Beautiful location. Rooms and hotel common spaces were peaceful and comfortable. Excellent breakfast.

Station Hotel has en suite rooms in a town-centre location. The restaurant offers home cooking at reasonable prices. Melrose Abbey is close by.
