If you are looking for a full immersion in the Bedouins' traditions, the Authentic Desert Camp hosted by Saeed is the best experience you could find in Oman desert ! From Omani hospitality to traditional dancing demonstrations, through a full tour of the desert, meet up with camels roaming around, we felt so comfortable with Saeed, who shared with passion all his knowledge with us. Authentic food was served as well, including traditional Omani dishes and fresh grills, including traditional bread cooking in the fire. It was an amazing experience, totally adapted for kids, group of friends and families!

Amazing Desert Experience – Peaceful, Clean, and Unforgettable! I stayed at the desert camp for one night on my own, and it was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The camp itself was beautifully set up – very clean, peaceful, and with a truly magical atmosphere under the stars. What made the experience even more special was the amazing driver and guide, Ali. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire stay. His passion for the desert and local culture really came through, and he made sure everything was perfect. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely – just completely relaxed and in awe of the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert experience! And the food was really nice too.

El alojamiento tiene 2 camas. Thousand Stars Desert Camp está en Bidiyah y cuenta con vistas a la montaña, salón de uso común, terraza y zona de barbacoa. My partner ane I stayed one night at Thousand Stars Camp and had an amazing time. A big thank you to Ali for his warm hospitality and passion for the camp. The location is incredibly peaceful—tucked deep in the desert with almost no one around. Ali personally arranged our transfers, picking us up in Nizwa and helping us get back to Muscat. We were welcomed with traditional Omani drinks and snacks, which made us feel right at home. The dinner was absolutely delicious—one of the best meals of our trip in Oman. The camp has a stargazing corner perfect for enjoying the night sky, and we highly recommend the sunrise camel ride. The views were breathtaking, and the caretaker kindly took great photos for us. This was a truly authentic and unforgettable desert experience. Highly recommended!

The stay at Desert Diamond Camp was excellent! Sultan picked us up from the meet point and took us to the camp and we were welcomed with a campfire and fresh tea and coffee! The tents were vary spacious, clean and cosy, and the bathroom facilities clean. The next morning we walked to the sand dunes and the children did sand boarding. Sultan especially and the camp staff ensured our stay was comfortable and we highly enjoyed our stay in the desert!
