We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and how nice it was. The view of the volcano was gorgeous (when it wasn't raining). The staff at the restaurant and reception were amazing. We had a couples massage and loved it. The resort was really nice, well kept and clean. The "hot springs" were not quite what we were expecting but still really nice.

Our stay at Noah’s forest really exceeded our expectations. Wonderful and peaceful location, in the middle of nature and very well curated, amazing ambience even in the restaurant, surrounded by green. We felt welcomed since the first moment we arrived and until the last one when we left: a special thanks to Anna, Daniel, Alan and Jafeth who we had the pleasure to meet, who gave us tips and recommendations on activities, places to visit as well as accompany us around the hotel to show us all the amazing plants, let us taste Costa Rican fruits as well as spotting sloths. Everything was perfect. The hotel is absolutely stunning, beautifully renovated. The pool and hot tub area is great with the morning sun. Big plus : super friendly staff.

It was the best hotel during my entire trip. Some improvements and comments (see below) did not affect the overall rating and I would gladly stay there again. I loved the nature around the hotel which is well taken care of, you can clearly see great work of gardener. Also, taking care of animals (e.g. feeding birds) is a nice practice. The views to the volcano are amazing. Hot springs were the highlights of my staying - clear and warm water surrounded by lush green nature and flowers. I do not know if the hotel was full or not but there were always plenty of sun beds and spots in the hot springs. People also seem to respect the place as there is no noise. The lady who worked at the bar was extremely nice and helpful and she made the best cocktails (not sure the name Maya, or Maria?). She also helped me to spot the sloth near by. You could clearly see she enjoyed her work. The room was very spacious and clean with all required amenities. Extra point for availability of repellent. The staff at the reception and restaurant was very friendly and helpful. As a customer you get a nice gift - a hotel bag. I can definitely recommend Hotel El Silencio del Campo.

When we arrived I saw one of the most breath taking views ever. The volcano is so close and makes a crazy impression. I could just stare at it. I wish we could stay longer. Such a peaceful and calm environment, breath taking view on the volcano, well maintained gardens, fantastic pool. So much wildlife- we could hear hundreds of birds all the time. I recommend visiting nearby restaurants as there are so many just a few minutes away. The only thing I didn’t like was a dinner at the hotel restaurant- it was expensive and really not too tasty. Very „Americanized” menu. I would rather have something local and simple. Breakfasts were wonderful though.

The views and location overlooking Lake Arenal and the volcano too are stunning. Check in staff. Nice simple rooms. A/c. Good breakfast. Lots of coffee. Beautiful gardens and viewing areas and the swimming pool.

Quiet everything, the host and his staff were super friendly. By chilling at the pool in the garden you can see the vulcano, very nice view. There is a kitchen for the common use, chairs and tables to eat and it's also a nice place to chill. The host is italian, and so is his restaurant next to the hotel where you have breakfast. In the evening you can enjoy original italian pizza and pasta, a dream :)
