Four-Star Hotels in Guachaca

Casa dos Almas is simply a magical place, a peaceful accommodation located in front of the sea on Mendihuaca beach. We stayed in a double room with a sea view located on the second floor. If we could describe our room in one word, it would be cozy. Everything was very clean, tidy, and beautiful, with a spectacular view of the sea under the shade of an almond tree. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable, and the room had a fan (air conditioning is not needed with the sea breeze). The accommodation has very comfortable and pleasant common areas. We had the option of breakfast included, but we opted for the "Napolitan eggs," which were very delicious. Thanks to Maria and Ela for everything, very friendly staff. Joseph has been one of the best hosts we have met, making our experience much more enjoyable, always attentive and kind. He instructed us very well about the place, helped us with everything we needed, and guided us on some activities like the Cacao Tour; he knows a lot about the area and told us about the culture and biodiversity. Probably many have not heard about Mendihuaca beach; it is a recent destination for tourists but offers tranquility and spectacular landscapes, located a few kilometers from Tayrona National Park and with easy access to the city of Santa Marta and nearby places of interest like the Sierra Nevada, Palomino, and other beaches. There are various activities available such as kayaking, surfing lessons, massages, among others, and transportation to other areas of the region is easy through moto-taxis. The local cuisine is not very extensive but offers more than enough delicious options, with Humbe as a recommendation, though all the restaurants we tried were delicious. We highly recommend this place for those who want to spend some time disconnecting and relaxing.

The place is amazing, located in the middle of the jungle and right next to the beach, allowing you to disconnect and relax. It is also within walking distance of Costeño, offering opportunities for nice parties. The atmosphere is friendly, youthful, and calm, and the place is very safe. The staff is super friendly, and the facilities are clean. It is perfect for solo travelers or backpackers who want to relax and connect with nature while easily making friends. The food and drinks were also good

Stunning location, excellent service. We stayed here two nights either side of a stay inside the National Park. The rooms here are huge. Both nights we had both river and sea views. The second night we had a dual aspect room with corner balcony. Staff are helpful and friendly. The pool is a refuge on return from the national park walks.

New, well-kept hotel with a beautiful restaurant. Beautiful, empty beach, comfortable beach beds. The restaurant serves delicious breakfasts and other dishes.

We could not ask for a better place. The house is like a dream, with a nice terrace looking into the beach and the sea. My favourite part was the bathroom, which was outdoor but really sheltered. Jorge was very kind and helpful. In the room there is good coffee (real one) and a cafetière. Next door there is a restaurant where we had wonderful breakfast every day and the best pizza in Colombia (I am Italian and really fussy about pizza). We could park the car just behind the property.

Such a great setting for a hotel. Beautiful pool and all the staff went above and beyond. Great location for going to the beaches and a short drive to the park entrance. Loved the pinacoladas!

Exceeded expectations in every way! Location, room, facilities were outstanding. Great food! Very chill and casual vibe with professional service. Most of all I want to give a shout out to the incredible staff, Juan David, Nidian, Lisette, Dian and Mario, among the few who made our stay so exceptional with their kindness, cheerfulness and commitment to making the guest experience memorable and enjoyable.

Great location, kind helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Stunning rainforest and ocean views. So nourishing being immersed in the natural world.
