Very good chinese style breakfast. The staff was very kind and helped us with every question we had throughout our stay. The hotel own e-shuttel was always available to take us to the ferry point. We also had dinner at the hotel, which was delicious. Communication with the staff was done via WeChat, because of the inbuilt translation function. It worked really well. The room was huge and the bed very comfy. There was also a comfy sofa with tea pottery and black tea to do your own tea ceremony. The TV came with a chinese on-demand app. There were lot of English movies (a good mix of Netflix, Prime and Disney+) available, that was great. We only had to translate the menu on our own, but that was not a big issue. We could easily hike up to the sightseeing platform at Xiangong Hill, took us only 1h to get there, easy hike. To reach the city it is necessary to cross the river with a ferry, which runs every few minutes during daytime. Costs 5 yuan per person per direction. We arrived at Guilin by plane, the hotel organised us a fixed rate pick up and it worked very smooth! The highspeed trainstation is roughly 30 min away, to get there from the hotel, we had to take the e-shuttle, then the ferry and then a taxi. Everything was prearranged by the hotel and we were also helped with our luggage till we were at the taxi! Perfect support, no need to worry about missing the train.

This is the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been to. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The hosts very extremely welcoming and friendly. We were really impressed.

All staff spoke really good englisg and were able to arrange us transfers when arriving and leaving the city. The room itself was very spacious and clean. No complaints.

We had a wonderful stay at Li River Resort, which was a perfect and more quiet oasis just a little outside of Yangshuo city. The staff was very helpful and spoke excellent English.

Richard and his staffs are amazing. The view from our rooms (pool and lily pond facing) is lovely. Even though there are no lilies in the pond as it is winter, the mountain view from our rooms is just magnificent! We enjoyed the relaxing and informative hourlong complimentary tea appreciation session --- came complete with fruits and snacks :). The hotel provides good choices of complimentary breakfast sets, ranging from local 桂林米粉 to toasts and waffles. Dinner is tasty and reasonably priced. Richard is very accommodating, allowing us to use the restaurant to play our boardgames after dinner, serving us complimentary free flow tea throughout our game and even help us cut fruits. Even though the hotel is not in the heart of city, it is very convenient to travel to city (cab ride is only ~US$2 to the city). We actually like the fact that it is not located in the city as it is more relaxing and the view is better. The hotel is right across a nice cafe, 5 mins walk from a strawberry picking farm and walking distance to bamboo rafting jetty. The hotel also provide scooter rental. Tea Cozy Hotel staffs give very good sightseeing and activities advices and helped us book the paid ones at a discount. I like the fact that they do not push sale on paid activities, instead they would actually advised us to do free sightseeing (amazing ones like the 3 bridges) that are more suitable for the weather. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Tea Cozy Hotel.

The hotel has spectacular views of the hills. Staff was incredibly helpful, they picked us up from the port after the Li river cruise. They arranged for us to borrow electric scooters with which we could explore the area. They helped us buy a bus ticket to the airport and also tickets for a show - definitely recommended to see. They made everything easy. We communicated without any problems through the translator. Thank you very much once again :-)
