The staff were kind and helpful from the very beginning. After we returned to the UK, we realised my mum had accidentally left one of her passports at the hotel. The room was great, very clean, and spacious enough for our needs. Great to always be supplied with plenty of bottled water. Having a laundry room (and also the possibility to leave the laundry to be done by the staff) was great. I loved the delivery robot as well, it made for an extremely fun experience. The hotel is very close to the terminal station of metro line 1, which offers great connections to a lot of interesting areas in the city, including the centre. There's also a direct bus line to the Shanghai Zoo, which is great. I will definitely look into booking here again when returning to Shanghai.

Stayed at The Yard Hotel last weekend and just loved it. This place is a peaceful, stylish oasis in the city. The room was beautiful—modern, minimalist, and incredibly clean with a very comfortable bed, also a great shower in the bathroom. The staff were wonderful: friendly, professional, and very helpful of course. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again next time in Shanghai
