Whether it was an early morning dip or a refreshing swim under the evening sky, the experience was magical. Dinner: The dining experience was another standout feature. Each evening, we enjoyed gourmet meals crafted with the freshest ingredients. The staff was attentive and happy to accommodate special requests, making each meal memorable. The ambiance of the restaurant, paired with the exquisite flavors, was truly unforgettable. Overall, Jetwing Lake is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty. Guests can choose from 4 restaurants including Makara Restuarant, a contemporary Chinese restaurant and Alaka Restaurant, which serves Sri Lankan meals throughout the day. Guests can also enjoy refreshing cocktails with soothing jazz music at Migara Bar. The view is outstanding. The hotel reception is perched on top of stairs with breathtaking view of the rock. The swimming pool also has an amazing view. Loved the vibe of the hotel, the room was very nice (nicer than i expected from the pictures!). The staff was very nice. We had buffet dinner and buffet breakfast and were very satisfied. The location is good, close enough to the rock to do it at sunrise then come back to the hotel to enjoy a nice breakfast.

The dinner was absolutely delicious - we don't regret one bit for not going out for dinner to the city for our 1 night stay. Looks like they plan to do even more renovations outside. Meals were good as were the staff. We were able to do an excellent safari through there as well.
