And it's easy to request a tuk tuk to take you to the city.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and care. A special thank you to Sachini (Front Office Executive) whose exceptional support throughout our stay made everything seamless. Her attention to detail and dedication to guest comfort truly elevated our entire experience. The design of the hotel strikes a perfect balance between elegance and nature. Surrounded by pristine landscapes, the property is immaculately maintained, with stunning gardens, flowering plants, and breathtaking mountain views in every direction. The air is fresh, the atmosphere peaceful—it’s the perfect escape from the busy world. One of the standout features of the resort is the infinity pool, offering a surreal experience as you swim above the forest canopy with panoramic views of the misty hills stretching endlessly beyond. I found myself returning to this spot every morning and evening—each moment more magical than the last. As part of their offering, the hotel provides a free guided tour around the surrounding area, which is a must. Walking through the tea gardens and forest paths, discovering the local flora and fauna, and soaking in the serene beauty of nature made me fall even more in love with this place. The restaurant deserves a five-star rating of its own. The food was consistently outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Special thanks to Yatawara for his incredible hospitality and service. He went above and beyond to make each meal a delight, and his warmth made every dining experience feel personal and memorable.

El Santani Wellness Kandy, inaugurado en 2016, ha recibido numerosos reconocimientos internacionales gracias a su alto nivel de servicio, cocina y spa. The staff made my boyfriend’s birthday so special. We arrived by tuk tuk (after a few breakdowns) and they even fixed it for us. Turn down service was luxury and the massage was the best I’ve ever had. Once in a lifetime bliss for us and worth event penny. We also loved our waiter who loved rugby and cricket just like us, and took the time to really chat to us.

Lovely people providing warm hospitality making sure you have everyting needed. Food options match all your requirement, and this is home food cooked by beautiful soul. There is a feeling that you live with the family as they are here during the day time.

An incredible place where you can sleep in luxury in the middle of the Sri Lankan jungle. The staff is wonderful and friendly, food was excellent. Everything's organic and fresh and homemade. So tasty!!! They their own cardamom ice cream, cardamom grows outside your room, as well as lemongrass and mini-guavas. Waking up to the breathtaking views of the Sri Lankan mountains, Going to sleep with the noises of the wet jungle- everything is an adventure in this place. (Watch out for bloodsucking leeches!) I did a half day trek up the knuckles range with their guide, thanks to him I was lucky to spot some leaf nose lizards. What a beautiful creature. Highly recommend this place.
