We received an upgraded room upon arrival and were allowed to keep it until 11 PM on the departure day. A nice restaurant in the hotel with a lovely breakfast and otherwise open until 11 PM for both lunch and dinner. Nice outdoor area with comfortable sunbeds and a great swimming pool.

Its quiet and the staff are excellent neat and well mannered. We were received in an excellent way especially after a 2 hour drive from colombo. We were offered fresh juice and a cool towel while checking in. Checking was straight forward and easy. The hotel has its own access to a beach and restairant. We mainly had breakfast there. Its a set menu breakfast that gives u a choice of english french and asian breakfasts. The location of the hotel is not where all the 5* hotels are but beaches are beautiful in most places and Taavetti has a nice stretch of beach with seating and umbrellas
