The Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is a first-class spa hotel situated just an hour’s drive from Zurich, amidst the foothills of the Alps in Eastern Switzerland. It is surrounded by a spectacular mountain landscape with picturesque hiking trails and stunning ski resorts. The 5-star luxury resort offers its own thermal spring and a medical health centre. The spa facilities were exceptional and entirely our reason for coming. We also enjoyed the service and most particularly because we rolled up to the hotel in a cheap rental car, spilled into the lobby with our backpacks and our box of pizza, and the staff did not break stride. They greeted our Canadian casual with the same impeccable detail as they did the well dressed man in the Ferrari who arrived minutes later.

The owner himself takes care of the property very gently and the staff friendly smile always save for the family and children they have a nice restaurant in the hotel marina delicious food and great chef you most try especially the tomatoes cream soup perfect thanks for the owner and the staff we enjoyed

This property is amazing, I didn't expect such a big hotel and the one of this quality. Everything is great and really thought out. Great breakfast, great sauna, great restaurant (if the chef works up mains a bit, I really see Michelin star for them in the future, the starters are already there, btw). Great bar with live music. Tea and water and fruits are available 24 h on every floor. Honestly, everything was perfect.
