Five-Star Hotels in Yala

O2 villas was a fantastic property, well maintained and beautifully built with nature and concrete blending together to give a magical atmosphere. Staff were extremely courteous and made you feel at home from the start. Food was sumptuous and fresh, very tasty and in large portions that we were so full and they provided freshly made juice and fruits that we have throughout the day. Rooms were spotless and having just a couple of villas in the property made the service very personal. Staff would play wiht my kids, take us on buggy rides where we saw so many animals, visited the dunes with us and stayed till sunset. Basically any wish gets fulfilled. Madhwa and staff were great hosts and I am very glad to have stayed 3 nights. There was enough to keep us entertained. I only regret not staying at other o2 properties in our Sri Lanka trip.

Everything ! The place is amazing. It is blended in the nature, the Savannah on one side and Indian Ocean on another. You can feel connected to the nature around you in a really respectful way. As everyone will tell you there : “animals were here first. we are the guests on their land”. Of course, the rooms are beautiful. You will enjoy spending time discovering every little detail of it. What we enjoyed the most was the food and the service The food was amazingly good and it was the best we had in our all trip in Sri Lanka. The Chef has much creativity and has nothing to envy to Michelin restaurants. Also every team member was very kind and thoughtful. The manager offered us a beach dinner on our first evening to celebrate our engagement and we had a surprise cake at the end to celebrate. But all the team members are very kind, efficient, flexible, and they genuinely caring about people. And at the end, that is the thing that matters. Finally but nonetheless, the safari experience was really amazing thanks to our ranger Darshana. It is a life changing experience to enter in this environment where you don’t belong. But what we will also remember is the passion of Darshana for the animals. He is so respectful of the nature around him and so knowledgeable. He is the one who made our experience unforgettable. Thank you to all the staff of Wild tented coast lodge. We hope to visit you again !

The standard of rooms and facilities and most importantly the staff are amazing.

We took a quick R&R trip to Sri Lanka and spent 3 nights at a tea estate in Nuwara Eliya before heading to Uga Chena for another 3 nights. While the 5-star tea estate was lovely, we found ourselves wishing we had spent all 6 days at Uga Chena—it was that fantastic! -------- Location: 10/10 Uga Chena offers the best of both worlds: a beautiful beach and proximity to a wildlife sanctuary. What more could you ask for? Accommodation: 10/10 The hotel is stunning with big beautiful well appointed rooms, the bed linens used are of high quality. With your full package, the rooms are always well stocked and have everything you'll need to have a comfortable stay. Every time we came back from breakfast, lunch and dinner - our rooms would have been made up! We never had to tell the reception even once that we need house-keeping! As soon as we'd step out of our rooms, it would seem that magically, little elves would go and tidy up your rooms! So that when you got back, you'd have cool, clean and refreshed rooms! Management: 10/10 Not just the rooms though, be it the bar area, dining areas, beach and sundowner areas or even be it the walkaways to your room - all are cleaned and raked and well maintained - but never so that you feel you're in an artificially manicured place. It's all natural and beautiful! This property is extremely well-managed and maintained. Food: 10/10 Chef Nuwan was so good - not only was our dining experience fantastic but Chef was so gracious and accommodating! You could ask for something that's off the menu and he'd whip it out for you! Everything from breakfast, to lunch, sundowners and dinners - all were fantastic! Staff: 11/10!!! Staff made this place so much more special! They were just fantastic! It sounds impossible, but not one staff member gave us a reason to complain! Everyone was so polite, friendly and efficient! No matter your ask, they catered to it, and that too always with a smile!

Absolutely loved the stay!! Excellent service from the day of booking until we checked out.. Staff were exceptional and attentive to all our requirements.. Housekeeping staff surprised us with lovely handwritten notes and decor every day! Nature trails were led by the Excellent team, Mr.Sampath , specifically did a fantastic job guiding us to spot leopards, elephants, and all the wildlife. Perfect location to spot wild life all around the resort. Nothing more a nature lover could ask for!! Food was exceptional with local cuisine and international cuisine as well. We loved our stay all throughout.. Highly recommend Cinnamon wild Yala!! Staying at Yala, look no more than Cinnamon wild!!

Our stay was nothing short of exceptional, with every detail meticulously taken care of. The administrative staff, especially Sasini, was incredibly helpful and courteous, coordinating with us from the very beginning to ensure a seamless experience. The entire support staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They booked our Yala safari, provided us with excellent snacks, and arranged a fantastic driver for the safari, ensuring we had the best experience exploring the wilderness. For anyone looking to indulge in luxury while being surrounded by nature, Lowin Yala is the ideal choice. Highly recommended!

We were warmly welcomed from the very start by the incredible team. They did everything they could to give us a memorable stay, from the delicious food (best we had in Sri Lanka and very generous portions), the impeccable service, informative safari and excellent facilities and special touches (star gazing from the impressive viewing platform). Communication was excellent and we really felt so well looked after and had such a special time at Makini Bush Camp. We were so sad to leave and would definitely come back and would recommend to anymore!

The chef did very well. Thank you for a super romantic and awsome dinner!
