Our stay was absolutely incredible. The setting in Sri Lanka’s lush “foliage” is breathtaking, and the way the architecture blends into the landscape is not only beautiful but simply genius. Retreat Luxury Eco Resort in Kandy. From the warm welcome to the exceptional hospitality, everything was top-notch. The owner, Chaminda, personally welcomed us and escorted us to the property, which was such a thoughtful gesture. During our stay, we enjoyed two amazing treks and had the most refreshing bath in the natural waterfall pool – a truly unforgettable experience! The food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. This place is a true gem, and I would recommend it a thousand times over!

The location is simply amazing with a stunning view on a lake and mountains. Small team extremely dedicated to make your stay a pleasant one. Kudos to Thiloka for her patience and always smiling. Great breakfast and food, the best we had in Sri Lanka. Definitely a place we will remember.

Beautiful property with lovely rooms. The roof top bar and pool was a highlight with amazing views. The gym is also well equipped and new. The breakfast buffet is amazing, all the food you can think of and more. Loved the friendly staff too.

I rarely write a review but this stay was beyond my expectations. I consider that this place has the best panoramic view of Kandy, which was nice to wake up in the morning. P.S. The owner of the place is a great person, who provided us with all the necessary information and service we needed.

What a magical place. The best hotel we stayed in Sri Lanka so far. The views and the infinity pool are on point. Special thanks to Isuru, who guide us in a short hike inside the property and explained to us about the different herbs and the uses for each and showed us pretty nice viewpoints in the area.

The staff are just incredible, Manjula and Navod took such great care of us. The manager is so warm and welcoming, too. The location is amazing. It’s close enough to Kandy or other attractions but far enough to feel like you’re in the middle of nature and enjoying peace and quiet. Our hike with Aju was wonderful, he is so knowledgable. Food was amazing! Some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka - the pastries and fresh bread we had were exceptional. Also the room we stayed in was gorgeous (stable suite) - lovely decor, fittings to a high spec, and the bed & linen was so comfy.
