We rode camels at sunset and climbed to the top of a dune to watch the horizon painted in shades of orange and red. The camp was wonderful, equipped with all the comforts. At night, we enjoyed traditional Amazigh music and danced with the other guests in a joyful atmosphere

My first night ever in a desert camp and what an experience it was. The tent was spotless, the atmosphere calm and serene, and the staff made me feel genuinely cared for. There's something magical about the silence of the desert and the vastness of the starry sky above. One night wasn't nearly enough. I wish I had stayed longer to fully soak in the peace and beauty of this unique place.

I arrived just moments before sunset and watched the dunes turn golden under the last rays of light. At night, we sat around the fire, drinking mint tea and listening to Berber drums beneath a sky full of stars. Riding the camel across the desert was simple and peaceful I felt as if time had stopped. At dawn, I watched the sun slowly rise over the sands, as if it were waking the world anew. This journey will remain carved in my heart, not just as a visit, but as a living memory I’ll never forget.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a night at a desert camp in the Merzouga Desert, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and the excitement of being in the heart of the desert. The camp is set up beautifully, with traditional Berber tents that are surprisingly comfortable, complete with cozy beds and all the essentials. The real highlight of the experience was the breathtaking sunset over the dunes, followed by a starlit sky that was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. The dinner served was a delicious mix of traditional Moroccan dishes, and the staff was incredibly friendly, sharing stories and music around the campfire. The camel trek to the camp was an adventure in itself – a great way to experience the vastness of the desert. If you’re looking for a unique and peaceful escape, this desert camp is the perfect choice

Expedition Luxury camp se encuentra en Merzouga y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. El desayuno está disponible e incluye opciones buffet, a la carta o vegetarianas. Personal muy amable. Dejamos el coche en un hotel que nos confirmaron ese mismo día a primera hora. Tenía piscina que pudimos usar antes de que nos llevaran al campamento en el desierto. Antes de viajar concretamos por el chat de Booking cómo nos íbamos a desplazar al campamento y la excursión de 1 hora en quad que fue chulísima. El viaje al campamento en Jeep son unos 15 minutos. La cena normal pero el desayuno buenísimo. Las jaimas limpias y grandes.

I think the most thing we liked wasn’t just the food, the pool and the good view but also how friendly and welcoming they were. It felt honestly like home, the location was perfect; close to stores and restaurant and more importantly right next to the astonished dunes of Merzouga

I loved the little details: the hot tea upon arrival, the scented towels, the team's constant smiles. Everything in the camp reflects genuine Moroccan hospitality. The tents are very comfortable and feel like a five-star hotel in the middle of the sand. I really enjoyed the camel ride, and the driver on the way back by car was very kind and explained a lot about the area. I recommend this place to anyone looking to experience moments of serenity amid breathtaking natural scenery.
